Isabella - thanks Calalily!

This is my first Isabella bloom. There are at least 4 more buds on the plant. It is really pretty and has a delicate smell. Thanks, Susie, for sharing with me!

Thanks everyone. This is my first year growing brugs.

The first time I ever saw a brugmansia was 2 years ago on the way to work - a huge brug with countless huge yellow flowers. I was totally amazed!

Maybe next year or one of these years, I can duplicate something like that.

Very pretty! Great job.

Now I'm beginning to think my JO isn't FP, but Isabella instead. Gosh, I like your picture.

I'm losing it brugie - JO, Grimaldi. Frosty to Isabella?
Don't do this to me - I'm counting on you to keep me from completely being lost.

Someone sent me two cuttings of JO last fall. I sent one of them to St. Louis to a friend. When mine bloomed, it looked like FP, but now, after looking at this Isabella bloom, it looks like this. The friend's brug bloomed pink too. I know I didn't get the tags mixed up on these for sure because the original tag is still with mine. I only had one FP from Jeanne and it still has it's tag too, but has only recently come through the ground from the roots, so there won't be any bloom from it this year.

Shirley, I think I remember Kyle saying that FP has white in the center and Isabella is more pink throughout the flower.

Has anyone noticed that Cala has not responded to her Isabella thanks?? Where has she been lately? OK I hope. I miss her brug pictures!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Snow, I just checked your picture of Isabella, and this is definitely not one. I'm thinking that GL and I both have another FP for sure. I'm glad you mentioned looking up the Isabella. The one you sent me has several buds on it now. Getting quite tall too. Can't wait to see it bloom in person. Thanks Snow, you and all the others who have donated to my brug garden are a great bunch of sharing people.

okay, but mine and snows are from same plant. anyone have an id'ed Isabella, or Eric, Kyle, Monika, someone speak up please. Mine was id'ed last year as Isabella and by everyone.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

tiG, very pretty. I can only hope for such a perfect bloom as that one.

I've been gone since this isabella ruckus started - sorry. That was the name on the tag, so I thought it was an isabella. But you know how tags can get mixed up sometimes. One thing I do know: it sure was pretty!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Gee, how did I miss this? GL, I tried to keep the tags straight, could have mixed them up. Glad it's doing good for you. Susie
