What can match the stunning beauty with which the rain lily rewards you following a dreary rainy day?

Beautiful blooms and beautiful photo!
I've seen these bulbs for sale, and now you've sold me on them. Next year.....
Definitely, Lophophora. You'll love these little guys - absolutely stunning displays.
Wow love it never see that much rich PINK. I would love to find seeds for me.
Redrose, where you live, you *should* be able to find these growing wild. If I recall correctly Dave's rain lilies came from Louisiana, and they multiply rapidly.
Dave, I'm planning to take the hardy plumbago I shared with you and plant it with Surprise Lilies (Lycoris) and pink rain lilies in a bed. They should bloom at about the same time (sporadically, but for several weeks); I figure the electric blue from the plumbago will make a nice counterpoint to the intense pink of the lilies. Just in case you were wondering what to do with that plumbago... :)
Vols: Funny you should mention the plumbago... It's actually sitting right here on my desk next to me. I finally made the first step - I moved it from the kitchen to my desk. Next stop - the garden. :) hehehe.
