Maya placement

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Any ideas where to put it? Full sun, part shade? I dont want to add this one to the murdered brug list.
I also need to get cypress gardens planted.
thanks

My variegated one is in part sun..like 4 hours sun in the morning then filtered shade the rest of the day. :-)

My Maya is in full sun and so far no leaf burn. It has had a bloom and others coming along. Grows pretty fast. P&C is another story. My Suaveolens Variegata is not as fast a grower either and definitely requires some shade in the hot part of the day. We don't get as hot as you do, so I think I'd follow Kyles method just to be safe.

i also have what i think is suaveolens variegata (kmart). i cant really determine its growing habits tho. it seems to get weed-eater pruned every 2 weeks, lol.

wow -- kmart had one that was not the generic white or yellow?

kell, im not sure what color its supposed to be either, lol.
i do love the foliage on it. its kinda crispy (fresh) looking..thick, heavily variegated leaves.
ill take to take a pic tomorrow and post it.
