I am going to post this in ID as well, but wondered if any of you know what it is? I had three of them on my biggest brug this morning and all my brug leaves are starting to look like swiss cheese! They are about two inches long and leave behind quite a bit of excrement. While I am here, this plant look like it has a Y or is close to getting one? It is the one from Brugie which is now over four feet tall.
Brug Eater?
Michele, I don't know what kind of cat that is, but he looks like he would be able to eat a lot. Yes, I'd say you have a Y there. Good luck with the leaf eaters!!
Thank you Brugie for answering. I now have four of the little critters in a coffee can. I am also getting more answers on the ID forum. I have five other little brugs that are suffering more, but as you can see, the one you sent me is just moving right along!

tiG, thanks a bunch. I don't think those are it either. I just got them and looked again. The first ones are too gray and the second are too hairy and maybe too yellow. Let me see if I can get a better picture to post. These do not have very dense hair and just a hint of yellow.
k
I had some of those on one of my Daturas. They are history now but they look very much like what we call web worms, only by themselves, not in a mass in a web.
