Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning
Hubby and I are getting ready to work on the pen for the bottle calves. They have had the scours. I got medicine and vitamins from the Vet yesterday. I had never had to give a tablet to a calf before and remember my Dad having a long metal instrument to put the pill way down their throat so they couldn't cough it up. Now a piece of plastic does the trick.
The weather here has been great for this time of year. I wish it would stay this way for awhile. But I know it's summer and expect it to get hot again.
We went to a party last evening. This guy is a plant nut.
I should say a plant nut on a budget. He has flowers everywhere and almost everything he has started from seed. His hibiscus from seed were lovely. I think he will share some seed with me and I was invited to go over in the Spring for wisteria starts and some starts of his cork screw willow. He got his start from that from a piece in a flower arrangement.
Ok, well , I will probably check in later.
