This is so pretty, I think it is what I have, it is just finishing but what I have is clear purple. Is yours this color or is it like shown? Joann

POPPYSUE - I am so happy to find this photo. I had these in the backyard when I bought my new house. My tenant thought he was nice and pulled the "weeds". Luckily I had transferred some to our neighborhood garden. Unluckily the City decided last week to do pipe work and totally destroyed out neighborhood garden. I went there at night and pulled the plants which were just starting to bloom and replanted them, but they don't seem to be taking. I've spent three days trying to find these flowers in case they die I can repurchase them. When I finally found a sight that had "racemes" I thought I finally found it. Only their photo and every other sites photo was so horible or distance I couldn't tell if it was my flower. And then other sites had the "superba" picture incorrectly. Thank you for finding my flower, and for having a beautiful phote. I LOVE YOU!!!!

Oh by the way, Lenjo, no it is not a clear purple. It is a very deep opaque purple. Absolutely gorgeous flower.

Cookee, I'm sorry about the misfortune with the garden. I hate it when that happens! I hope everything you've labored over will stay alive for you for next year.
