Monika,Tonny.your help is needed!

Biel, Switzerland(Zone 7a)

Hi Monika and Tonny,
I am looking for a good fungicide on this side of the fish pond.2 of my brugs suddenly had white spots on them(mehltau?powdery mildew?not sure, but I have the same on my red Maple),and I was thinking of using a product from Gesal for roses.Do you know if this will work,or can you recommend something else? The border is about an hour away from here,so if it's something I can only find in Germany,or the EU,I can hop to the Toommarkt in Lörrach.
Thanks,Gwist
Oops, almost forgot...since I will be in the U.S. as of next Thursday, the other side of the "fish pond" will do,too!

You can use any fungicide that is good for roses or Zierpflanzen. Are you sure about a fungus? Grauschimmel can be a problem in too humid winterquarters but not during summer, when the plants are outside. Mehltau doesnt affect Brugs.
It might be Woll- or Schmierläuse, they look like little Wattebäusche. Unter the Watte,, you will find die Läuse.
When you squeeze them, it doesnt smell very well.
Check your Brugs throuroughly, before you buy a fungizide. Are these white spots on the stems or underneath the leaves?

Monika,it is actually on top of the leaves..I have had my fill of wollläuse this year, but not on Brugs, thank goodness!!I don't know what it is actually, but when I went out to check them,it was washed away by the rain.Just large white spots on the leaves, and lots of holes. It has been very humid these last few days, and the temperature has been as high as 32°c,plus the ground is moist from the rain..as my mother-in-law said today"Komishes wetter!"I hope it isn't grauschimmel, for I will be away for 2 weeks, and I have already had visions of coming home to 18 dead brugs lol!!!!I have forgotten what to look for with Botrytis..can you help me?

wollläuse..is a Mealy Bug.

Botrytis (Grauschimmelbefall) looks like a gray lawn, Grauschimmelrasen. Es heißt so, weil die Fäden wie eine dichte Rasenfläche aussehen. It covers real quick leaves and stems.
Der Schimmel dringt ins Gewebe ein. Befallene Triebe sterben ab. I dont think its Bortrytis or any other fungus. Rain cannot washed it away, just destroy parts of it.
So I think, you dont need to worry.

Thanks Monika,I have no idea what it was or is,but I didn't find any today.Alles sieht gesund aus,und die kleine löcher sind von Heuschrecker(found lots of grasshoppers last night!)
