See the "fake" frog in the spillway? There are "real" frogs living underneath the stone it sits on...
another view of my water garden
Very pretty!! I can just imagine someone coming over to visit and seeing the pond as soon as they drive in. Neat location to say the least. Do you have problems with the pine tree(?) above it? "T" :)
The post that you see is actually a light fixture. Used an old cedar tree for the post. There are two pin oak trees in the area that you see though and they make a big mess in the spring which is when they lose their leaves. We keep a net over the pond in the winter and don't remove the net til the pin oaks drop their leaves. There are several pines along the drive though and yes, the needles get in the pond. It depends on if there has been a lot of rain (gee, I wonder what that is) or wind as to how often we have to skim the pine needles. We don't mind though. You know how us water gardeners are...love to play in the water LOL....ps...If you look at the other pic of my water garden, you will see the post that is the light fixture..

Vic, that is just awesome! Do you know how many gallons it is? I am really impressed with it. I still want to live with you. LOL
5600 gallons...and you can come live here anytime you want :-)
It's so peaceful looking. I'll be right there...put a pot of coffee on. And you're right..we do like to play in the water. It seems every time I go outside I do something to the water or plants. "T" :)
You make me want to rethink putting in a pond. That is marvelous!
