Cucumber beetles are terrible AGAIN!

Those ^^%+*#@ cucumber beetles are riddling my brugie flowers again this summer...always something,wind,heat,rai,hail,bus..it never ends does it?

Arlene, they look like a green lady bug. I use the pyrethrin on them too. I love to go back a few minutes after spraying and see them lying on their backs, little legs waving a bit, can't fly, poor little things(Not).

lol...i can't believe how many bugs and cures you know.

A little DE around the base of the plant helps a lot too. I had them bad on my asparagus and boy, one good application of that and they were gone until very late in the season and then just a few showed up. I've had a few on the brug blooms, but the worst thing is a darned cat on my Candida double white. Holes everyplace and I can't get him with anything, so far.

Ah Brugie, he will be a beautiful butterfly soon!! I have had all kinds of cats on the brugs, and one green kind loved just one brug, it looks like a new kind of "shredded" brug.
