Okay, not high tech, but it works. LOL Don't know if you noticed the two strawberry pots in one of the first pics I posted, but I am not one to waste and they were not being used. I came up with this idea and hubby put it together while I planted. I may end up doing both of them but haven't decided yet. It isn't finished. This was just the test run to see if I would like the idea before I made it permanent.

Pretty clever, where do you guys come up with these ideas? I did give a friend the idea to hang a watering can in a tree over his pond and hook it up to the pump so the water flows from the can into the pond. Should have done that one myself it came out pretty cool. But that one with the strawberry pot is really original! Good job.
Thank you Candee. If there is one thing I am good at, it is making use of things sitting around. LOL Now if I could find uses for all the other *stuff* I cannot seem to throw away.
Badseed, I have been reading about ponds & saw this. If U slow down your fountain so it just trickles & put VERY WELL washed Lava rocks in it U will have a GOOD Trickle tower biological filter. We are gonna make one for our pond if we ever get well enough to dig it out (got something like the flu) Now put some plants in the top of it & U also have a veggie filter. Maybe you can try it with your other strawberry pot. The water need to be very slow. It needs to be where it is mostly out of the water but the water runs back in the pond.

OOOPS forgot U need to drill about 4 small holes near the bottom of the pot.
