Red Spider Mites, UGH!

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Yep - I've got em, at first I thought I had the dreaded virus on some of my babies, but now I am convinced it is red Spider mites. I have been spraying with a mixture of alcohol, 409, water (equal parts) & a dash of deturgent, doesn't seem to be working tho.

I was keeping these separated from the ones that don't have them just in case. Today I noticed that I have 3 big buds coming on the Isabella that had the one bloom about a month ago, so it is still really healthy other than "buggy".

Could be cyclamen mites too. Can you find Neem Oil there? Home Depot has it as Green Light Rose Defense. Mix it in warm water and spray tops and bottoms of leaves and stems. Do this every third day for three weeks and you should get them under contro. You can also cut the tops out, but I hate to do that.

I will get some of one or the other real soon - I did try last week to get Neem oil at Walmart. Thanks, didn't know about the other name.
