Prayer plant flowers?

My relatively new prayer plant has tiny pale lavender flowers. Is this common? My few houseplant books don't mention blossoms. Thanks.

I've heard that they can flower, one my of friends had one that flowered as well as a sanseveria. You must have it in just the right spot!!!

It's on top of a TV set in a corner with no direct light. I'm surprised the poot thing is even alive.
