It grew! LOL

Well, I went out the other day and filled the water garden with water to soften the dirt. I let it sit for two days (because I got ill) sucked it half way out, dug the ledge, then decided the garden was not big enough! LOL Instead of being 4x9 it is now more like 9x9. Hey, everyone keeps telling me I will just want another one anyway, so I went double wide now. Giggle It is technically a pond now or still a water garden? LOL Life being as life is, I went ahead bought a swimming pool liner for now ($30), much cheaper than pond liner. I know it does not look as natural, but it will be pretty and I do have five daughters who probably wouldn't like dark and eerie looking anyway. :) (making lemonade). Do I remember right, that water lilies do not like moving water? I am thinking I want the pump and water lilies in the deep end with the water re-entering in the shallow end with some type of feature. Does this sound good? I am hoping to finish digging today and get the padding and liner by tomorrow.

Am I to assume the dog was helping again? lol You were ill? Feeling better? Yes, water lilies do NOT like moving water although they can tolerate it some. Sounds like you're on the right track. MaMa "T" :)
