Hi Amaryllisgal, your blue brazilian snapdragon is beautiful, I love the true blue in the garden and this looks pretty blue, did you raise it from seed or plant? The way it is snuggled in those rocks makes me think it likes great drainage? Can you raise this as a perenniel where you are? Looking forward to hearing from you, I am new here at DG , tell me how do you take your photos, is there a digital camera that takes good closeups?

Lenjo, first of all, Welcome to Daves Garden! You will really like it here. It's a great place to visit.

I bought this as a 1-gallon plant at Home Depot a couple of days before shooting the photo. Since the tag didn't give a lot of information about cultivation, I just put it in a raised bed that gets partial sun. So far it's doing well!

As far as I can tell, this may not do well as a perennial in my area so I'm going to try and root some cuttings to make sure I have it available next year.

I use a Sony Mavica FD92 digital camera on the macro setting.
