How do I get a Datura to bloom?

I've never had one befor. It is a double yellow. Any hints? It's in full sun, in a large planter. I give it some fish emulsion, and also some epsom salts every few waterings.

they do take awhile. as soon as you see them make a Y they will start to bloom shortly...time and patience but worth the wait.

Dbl. yellow metel use to put out between 7-12 leaves, before the Y`ing. In zone 5 full sun or full sun a part of the day is very good. Good luck with it :-)

Thanks. I have the Y. It is in full sun. Do they like lots of water?
