a variegated brug called 'Oro Verde'? Just read my Yahoo mail and someone mentioned having this one in addition to P&C, Maya, and Variegata single white.
Ever heard of.
it has yellow flowers, "Oro" means yellow.
The only place I've seen it listed is Hodnik. I believe it's a variegated sanguinea. I ordered it from him and he couldn't get it to root. I think that's where KHT got it.
Liz, I think she was talking about how they can take more sun and heat. That might be the kind I need. :-)
I saw that too - it sort of surprised me but then she's grown it and I haven't so she should know.
If someone read German here's what one site says:
sanguinea Oro Verde buntlaubig grün-gelb dottergelbe Röhrenblüte, sehr rar weil die Bewurzelung sehr schwierig ist, fast so wie die Pflanze
Monika: What'd she say???
Glory, did the site have a picture of it?
Gloria-- :-)
sanguinea Oro Verde, green yellow variegated leaves, egg yolk colored flowers, rare, cuttings are hard to root and to keep, very sensitive plant.
I can only heartily agree. Oro Verde is a problem.
A german nursery had it several years ago. I can ask for a cutting.
Hey Glory and you guys.........want to know a too cool site??? I just tried it on Hodnik and got the entire site in English TOO COOL TOO COOL TOO COOL. Of course you need to know what language the site is written in...........at first I put German being a born a bit slow but soon realized after closer inspection Hodniks was in French (and this is after taking many years of french in school)!
