Whiskers that Glory sent me finally opened up this afternoon. It was well worth waiting for. It's beautiful and it smells so good.I also have one that is only two feet high that Cala sent me that is full of buds. This will definitely be one of my favorites and a keeper. In the background is Eric's Dr D another beauty.

Whiskers
Whiskers sure is a beauty. so is that DrD in the back ground, my VPX's sis and looks really similar, large broad flowers, right? mine aren't as peachy yet as they got last year.
Snow, that's what my "unknown" looks like(the one in the background). Does it smell wonderful? Probably hard to tell with Whiskers blooming too.
Cala, I saw your picture and I thought it looked like DrD.
DrD has a wonderful smell and I can smell it from up on my deck.
Arlene, yes DrD has nice size flowers. I really like it a lot.
Those are two gorgeous flowers.
I can't wait. The one Cala sent me this spring was pretty small and now the first bloom's calyx is starting to open and let the flower drop down. I can't believe how quickly it has grown from small to a blooming brug. Thanks Cala.
Snowhermit.......I married a born and bred New Hampshire man! How many brugs do you have in your brug garden? Looks like quite alot!
kell,I've got somehwere around 70 Brugs in the ground.I'm definitly downsizing this fall after I see them all bloom.
Where was your DH born?
Dr.D is one of my fastest earliest bloomers from that cross. Parents were Dr.Sues and Ecuador pink. I think he might like to be crossed to Butterfly, Rosabelle, or perhaps Noel.
Snowhermit.......he was born in Laconia, but moved all over NH. I can't wait to see your garden in full flower! I am so impressed with your commitment to go against nature and win!
Gotta git me some whiskers!I love that!
