Eclipse, if you don't know, we have no chance.....You are our resident expert....
I've missed seeing your posts, but I imagine you're busy with your tropical garden. How are they coming?

Eclipse, will you post a photo of your blooming garden?
I look forward to seeing all the plants you have.
do hummingbirds like Bugmansias???
I have several huge butterfly bushes and they are pracically living in there. I was standing a foot away from one, he was sitting on a branch resting, I was so close, I could see his teeny tiny feetsies...I got to thinking about what all I could add to help my hummers (or to please them) and wondered if they would like the brugs....

Pebble,I'll post a pic in a few weeks after even more things get blooming,One species of brug..sanquineas are pollinated in the wild by sword billed hummingbirds.Their bills are 9 inches long and curved and they use them to feed on the brugs..they spread the pollen on their heads while they feed.

I have a similar one but I have a problem. It was from a grafted plant which I bought. The buds break off just before a couple of days when it is due to open. The plant is hardly a foot high, the leaves are healthy but slow in growth. It is a lovely flower. I'm sure the links I gave in another post will help you ID this one too.

Eclipse, I went to a nursery that had a huge scizopetalus(sp?) hibiscus. It was the neatest thing. They also had made a standard out of a variegated one. I found a site with lots of hibiscus photos, I'll have to find it again and link it here.

Calalily I have three kinds of the variegated varieties...one grows quickly so I did a 7' tree out of it..but it grows kinda sparce....:-(
