who remembers the post that talked about brug leaves that

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

look like they are saying a prayer at night with their leaves (hands) folded and pointed upward.
Anyway, now that I have noticed one of my brugs doing that at night I wish I could remember what was said about it. Anyone remember what the significance is?
thanks

My Brugs also do this. I know, that Monika or Cala can explain, what causes them to do so. I only remember remotely, that it could be something about the sugar in the cell juices are floating during day and changes to starch during evening and night.

Hi Tonny, good to see you back.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Kell, it's in the BOOK - you know, the one you said you moved to the reading room.
Says they do this to protect the sensitive vegetative region from losing too much heat in the night.

LOL Liz.............. but of course, it is in the book! I must make more stops to the reading room! I was hoping it meant I had rare brug, like a triple pink!

Hi Tonny, I have missed your great pictures and detailed posts. How are your brug babies doing?

i still think they are reaching to the heavens, trying to get moon and star light. a genetic predisposition, maybe.
