I am having a snail problem. Seems like they have decided to make a feast on some of my lily's. What do I do? I have fish in the ponds. They look like little snails that are eating small holes in leaves of plants.
How do you get rid of snail?
I used to hand pick a lot of snails out of my ponds and water features but now I just treat the plants before I ever put them into the pond in a 5 gallon bucket of water with three tablespoons of potassium permanganate mixed into the water. That kills all parasites on the plants. I get the potassium permanganate from a koi dealer who packages it into baby food jars for sale. The left over potassium won't hurt the fish either.
