Hot here again today. I am suppose to take it easy, but thought I was having company tomorrow, so was cleaning. I was so relieved when I heard they weren't coming. I went to check the blackberry patch. The vines are loaded but not quite ripe. They never get ripe here until right around July 4th. But my buddies said they had ripe ones and had been picking some. We always have little silly contest like whose got the biggest tomato, stuff like that. They beat me on the blackberries.
