Update on Broadway Pink Brug

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I went to another nursery today for lunch and found another Broadway Pink. This one had a sign above it that said Broadway Pink (syn. Ecuador Pink).

A few months ago I watched a gardening show on TV and the guy said that often a grower will rename a patented plant so he doesnot have to pay for growing them. He said that this is why certain plants have many different names. I don't know if this is why there are so many names for the same brug. Are any patented?

Also I found a Brugmansia suaveolens Pink, any guesses what this one really is?

Kell,

Suaveolens Pink is just that, I have it got it from Arlene, it is currently blooming, starts out sorta yellow then opens white and turns pink around the rim. My blooms stay open for a couple of days before they finally start to die. If you want this don't go out and buy it. I can send you a piece when it stops blooming or even someone else that has it would do it.
