Oh that's neat, Baa. I didn't know there was a dwarf variety of this. I have the regular meadow rue in our yard.

It's not a dwarf this is a species that only grows to 4 inches high. It needs acid, moist soil, a shady spot and flowers best in damp summers. Perfect for me ;)

Thought you might like to know that this species of thalictrum grows supurbly in full sun. I've had one in my perennial garden for about 3 years. Its trippled in size and seems to like my dry more alkaline soil. It gives me blooms from early July through August, I just love it!
