Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning Everyone,
Lisa , So good to hear you are feeling better and everything is going better. Something like this does make you think about who is going to fill in milking and doing animal care if you would have to go to the hospital. I am lucky to have my brother right next door. But there is still a limit to what I think is too much to ask. Last year we had an emergency and needed to be away and I had 3 bottle calves. He took them over to his place and his kids took care of them for me. One of my calves started stealing milk from a cow and her new born. Brother brought him home at the earliest convenience!
I didn't mean that I didn't really believe in 4-H yesterday, just that I agreed that some of the judging was a little off at times. I learned a LOT in 4-H. I just didn't have my children in it, because they were in so many other activities.
There is a slight possibility of showers here today. My flower bed and tomatoes could use a good soaker. Hope you have your hay up there EvaMae. But maybe it'll give me some rain and skip you if you're not quite ready for it!
My it's been hot and humid here. Makes me not want to do so much outside. Even late in the evening yesterday was miserable.
