'Creamsickle'

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

'Creamsickle' in full bloom. Cream at this point, it changes further to a pale peach.
It's blooms have been very interesting to watch. Flower size on this one is 16" long ..
7" skirt width. A very large double!
I have uploaded three 'phases' to the BDG. It is browning a bit with heat and humidity
the past 2 days. I will add it's 'peach phase' soon as a good photo. This one is an interesting brug to grow.
Always changing (o:

Alice, it was cloudy all week and 3 of my blooms turned peachy, but the skirts still did not drop. even white and the skirt not dropping it is awesome, huge flower that holds its white for 4-5 days! (measured 17inches long) i have had blooms on it now since i posted the first pic, month or so ago, and still have buds. still don't know if mine is creamsickle or double peach, wish someone had the double peach in bloom. yours if very very pretty, wish my skirs would drop!

You are right, Arlene ..it is longer!!!
I just measured the flower itself.

Irish, its fragrance is like Easter lilies.

So Arlene ,are we still confused???I thought for sure it was a match! And not many women are wishing their skirts would drop...LOL

CC, i really think i have them marked right, and the one i posted as creamsickle is. you'll have to get double peach blooming so we can see!!!! is CS growing faster than DP for you?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

They really are just sitting there,no real growth yet,so I cleared a spot in the garden and they are going in the ground tomorrow.I didn't make tags for them yet but if your pretty sure they are labeled right I will tag.Wonder if my skirt will drop??

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

I really like the way the skirt drops on this one. The c. dbl White that I have has three blooms so far and all of them have stayed stuffed up inside. The leaves are a beautiful velvety serrated, but I'm not very impressed with the flower.I've sliced open two of the flowers to pollinate them because before the flower is fully open the anthers are already brown and rotted.

Snow,
That is what happens to my DW also but lately I have had it to bloom like a single with just a very small amount stuffed inside....last a lot longer that way.

I'd love to get on the list of cuttings for this one if anyone is keeping a list.

Glory, with the rain we've been getting the last flower in the flush just turned brown without fully opening. I'd like to get a cutting of this one too.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

perhaps there's room on someone's fall trade list that I can get on too?

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

I am just back here a minute and off until evening.

I just checked 'Creamsickle'. There is one app. 4" and one app.
6" cutting right now I feel will root. I keep a trade/share list, also.

Also .. I am always happy to get brugs I don't have, too (o:
