My lilies have taken over!I have 2 small areas to see the fish. Can I prune some of the good leaves and not hurt the blooms.I know I can take off the dying and deformed ones, but can I thin it out?The frogs can walk across the pond! You can just see some of the fish if you look close...
Can't see the Koi !
You can thin up to a third of your lily leaves without causing a problem.
judyb is right. Lilies are very "forgiving" plants. But look at it this way..at least you have a happy water garden. Happy ponding!! "T" :)
If you are going to thin the actual plants out let me know and I will send you postage.

Ahh busy, it's not me that's doing the thinning. So sorry!! If and when I do I'll keep you in mind. Put up a request on the Plant Trading Forum. It's doesn't hurt to ask. "T" :)
