Within the last several months it has put out 2 of the long stemed blooms. It is a bulb that sits half in soil. Has strap leaves and makes little bulbs easily from seeds that fall into pot.
What is this? Help please.
Looks like my pregnant onion, except mine has never had the bloom stalk. I'm sure it is something different, but close anyway.
Ornithogalum caudatum is the botanical name for the sea onion or pregnant onion. I grow this one and the plant you picture looks the same as what I have.
