Does anyone know the hybridizer of Blush. Everyone is always striving for large flowers but this plants blooms with its 4" skirts is a delightful plant. The blooms have held up to wind and heavy rain and are in their 4th day and they still look great. The 'blush' is slight pink between the segments. It y's early and blooms freely--4 blooms on plant only 16-18". Would love to know the parents of this beauty. Larry, if you are out there, is this one of your hybrids?
Who is hybridizer of BLUSH and parents of-
Jackie made it. don't know the parents.
The Blush I had from Jackie looked like a light version of Insignis Pink....I do believe Larry has a Blush also. Larry sent me a cutting but I believe my Larry Blush died.
I believe Larry sent me this start. What is really nice about it is the small size and the 4 blooms are on day 5 and are just now starting to fade and look bad. Next time it blooms will take photo next to Insignis Pink so that size of flower can be seen. Larry, if you are out there, please answer.
uh oh, time to get serious about hybrid names if there are two Blush around. it could happen a lot with as many seeds as there are out there.
I kinda like the smaller flowered ones..they take up less room and look more porportional to a smaller pot. :-)
yep it's me there is another blush pinkish
so i will call mine "orange blush" from here on out
it's a very heavy bloomer and can take the heat
I just had to name the other one "Twisted Sister" lol
they get so tangled at times one has to hand pull them apart.
I have about 1000 seedling i am planying with now :-)
you all will just have to wait to see what is next lol
Larry
Larry, would just love a cutting if you find yourself with plenty. it's beautiful
Larry,
I still owe you some cuttings. Have not forgotten. Lost almost all early cuttings in greenhouse due to freeze. I was away during two of our coldest part of winter. Non plant people were watching greenhouse.
I will change the name on 'Blush' to 'Orange Blush.'If you care to share the information, I would apprecate knowing the parents of 'Orange Blush. Interested in the petite quality of the plant and flowers. Great job.

Larry,
Are you saying that the Orange Blush and Twisted sisters are from same cross? The Orange Blush is so different with its shorter and early branching, small flowers. Twisted Sisters has huge leaves and grows straight up, buds are large. Mine is about 5' and just now making a y-will see blooms in next few days. I am marking the Orange Blush as a keeper. You and Mother Nature did a great job. I am very excited about this plant and think there is a good market for small flowered brugs.
Larry,
Is Valley Misty Pink from Earl or you? I must take a picture of it tomorrow. I just love this Brug....the pink on the edge is the lightest I have ever seen....I'm talking light pink.
Glory, can't wait to see your valley misty pink picture..........mine looks good that you sent me so far. I just mailed your check this AM...........it has been sitting in my car all week......I always come thru but have been know to be late. thanks
Kell,
I forgot about it....Oh boy money. :0)
