I thought you might like this - it's your Huanto Misha Tora. Maybe it's the weather but if I had to pick a colour, I'd say it was orange, not red.
For brugcrazy
OH LIz....that is great - absolutely lovely.
Is it as fast a grower as the other brugs?
WWWWOOOOWWWW ,I love that!!
Can "Huanto Misha Tora" be translated or transscripted lol Currently I am reading Erwin Neutzsky Wulff`s transscription of The Old Testament: ! Moses book lol The infamous ENW has translated/ scripted it as is, without any regard to the twistet versions of our States Religion and I have been laughing my AO from the very first page lol However, "Huanto Misha Tora" sounds more like South American native language, that that of the old Middeleast desert robbers :-)
btw. It is a pretty one and I know, how the weather with its ever changing lights can change photo coors lol but I can easily imagine it as orange :-)
Have you grown it from seeds, Liz?
I'm not Brugcrazy, but had to peek. Wow is right. Very pretty and doesn't look red to me either. Just plain pretty!!
Wow .. Pretty! Sad.. I don't think I would be able to grow them here!
I believe Jeanne got the seed from Pureland Ethnobotannicals - Florida? The leaves are small Tonny, like the tomato leaf sang. This one really sprawls - I think it would be happiest crawling along the ground. I have about 4 stakes in the pot trying to train it up rather than out. Jeanne knows the story best though about the name. I think it is South American.
Liz,
It's another beauty!!!
The seeds came from Pure Land Ethnobotanicals in Madison WI. I ordered a lot of seeds from them, the sanguineas were the only ones that grew true to name. All the rest, arborea, suaveolens, aurea look the same and none have flowered yet. I was disappointed in their seeds except for the sangs.
