To all that have sent me your SASE's for the 'Love Lies Bleeding' seeds, please accept my deepest apologies for the delay in getting them out. However, they will be mailed tomorrow (Monday).
Besides the procrastination factor, I've also been in a whirlwind packing up my house and trying to get things in order for putting it on the market. If anyone feels really bored, come on over and I'll gladly put you to work. I'll supply all the coffee and my dog will gladly let you scratch her ears for hours. VDH starts his new job out of the area tomorrow so I'll be able to get more done without his help....LOL!!!
For those who would prefer to work outside instead of inside, there's also alot of garden work to do as well. Bring own gloves as all but one pair of mine are already packed. Will provide clippers, pruners, and anything else garden related. Lemonade, Gatorade, ice tea, and wine coolers available on site.

Sure thing, bring your cold. The little bit of warmer weather and sunshine down here may just be the ticket to get rid of your cold, KHT.
Now, for directions, hit I-5 and come south (WAAAAAY south), hang a right at Sacramento onto 80, go over the Vallejo/Benicia bridge, hang a left at Hwy. 4, head east a ways until you see the Pittsburg signs. Take the Loveridge Road exit, follow it up from there until you hit a "T" in the road, go right, an immediate left, an immediate right, and we're half way down the block on the right. You have the house number. See? Very easy to find our home. When you ring the door bell, I'll be the ragamuffin that answers the door.
Do you want your coffee strong or will you be ready for the wine cooler? And since I've been on a chocolate milk kick lately, that is also up for the offering. Will go well with the chocolate covered slugs.
So what time tomorrow may I expect you to arrive? LOL!! And don't forget to pick up Pebbles on your way down. She needs a 'vacation' also.

Hey, I'm game, can I bring the children too? they do like to help out, although hmmmmmmmm I wouldnt trust them too much with your breakables.....
How long will the drive take? If I leave now, will I make it by this evening? You have no idea how I would love to come help you pack and all.....Where did you guys end up going? Looking forward to hear all about it over some strong coffee while we're packing.

Children and docs always welcome, as well as pets. Husbands are optional. The more the merrier! Don't worry about the breakables, the majority of those are already packed.
If you drive really, really fast (but carefully, mind you), you should be able to make it here by early morning. That is, if you left a couple hours ago. I'll even let you take naps before I put you to hard labor. On the other hand, knowing you two, we'll probably be laughing so much that we'll get next to nothing done....but what fun we'll have in the meantime.
BTW, KHT, me and Raid have become good friends again...'tis that time of year. :o)
Ah-ha! So it's your allergies! I can relate to that as I have a black car and when sitting outside it was turning this yucky, dusty yellow. Would it help if I told you that is over with down here? Might make you feel better to get out of it for a bit. (Still trying to get you down here so that I'm not the only one with newspaper ink all over my hands from wrapping things.)
And bring all your datura and brug seeds...we'll get them potted up for you in no time whatsoever. And altho I don't have a greenhouse, I have the perfect spot for them to germinate. On my potting table that is oh-so huge and long and gets the perfect protected spring morning sun. Everything I've always seeded and germinated there has done terrific.
Ok, now that I've solved those two problems for you, how 'bout it????? LOL!!
Oh no you don't KHT, don't you dare get her to move up near you. She is still in my state and I was hoping they were going to move closer to the Bakersfield area. That way she would have been only 3 hrs. away, instead of 8 hrs. Sure wish I could get my hands dirty with you Emlyn. I'm also digging up all my plants in the back, so the landscaper can redo it for us. I just sent approx. 10 pots of plants home with my dad, so he can plant sit during construction. I will take several more up to him this week and hopefully some of my neighbors will let me borrow some space to put the bigger ones. I only have about 100 pots to dish out. That includes my big Brug too.
Hang in there girlfriend, at least you don't have to pack up all the kids things also. LOL
