Boy does this one smell good, that's if you like the smell of Lemons...pale yellow...this is the first day it has opened. Don't know the mix...another one from Larry. I believe I will keep this one just for the fragrance.
Twisted Sister Brug
It sure is a little different at the tendrils, isn't it? I like seeing some that have a different look to them. Lemon? Wow, that sounds so good. Yes, I'd keep it too, just to get a little whiff of something different. Very pretty brug.
Is this the one Tonny was talking about from Larry? Love the name.
Liz,
I don't know....must have missed that posting.....Tonny where are you? Liz has a question for you.:0)
The name Twisted Sister makes me think of that big haired rock band from the 80s - lol. I like the brug much better.
That is a very pretty brug. I can almost smell it from here.
wow, what a wonderfully healthy plant!!!
I wondered what it looked like.Thats going on my want list!
It's beautiful Glory. I can almost smell it too!!
Very pretty flower.
Glory . . . I love the smell of lemons - how refreshing. Pretty flower and I wonder how the color will change with age. "Twisted Sister" - - someone had a sense of humor!!
Sunday Morning update: It is now starting to get darker but has closed up. I will take a new picture tonight.
Glory, I have EP blooms if you need pollen. What about if I try to put Jean Pasco with EP? Don't have a clue what I am doing, but if you need pollen, I have U Conn, EP, Grimaldi, Sun Ray, Jean Pasco blooming. Also, Old Glory bloomed one, yes ONE bloom, and then no more(?).
Glory, Nice flower I have a hybrid candida single that has a heavy lemon scent..I call the plant "Heaven Scent" Sounded appropriate.
Roz,
Is the pollen on your EP dry or fluffy? Go for it...put what you'd like to your EP....Marie knows how to pollinate. LOL That does sound kind of strange. :0)
Kyle,
The lemon smell is great....does it get stronger with more flowers blooming. What cross makes the lemon aroma?
I know why he calls it Twisted Sister....the whiskers are spiral...they look like the wire on a sprial notebook.
