Looks like another beautiful day here.
My brother helped me trim up two of the ponies feet yesterday. Good thing My sis-in-law is in the "horsey set.She makes sure my old guys aren't neglected. We have to wait until July 8th for the farrier.Booked solid.
Hubby moved all my very large houseplants out under the maple trees yesterday. He soaked them good as well. One of the cane begonias has one stalk as tall as me with flower cluster on it.
Since I have been under the weather I have told everyone that I suppose the cattle are still on this farm. I have to learn not to hover quite so much. They all came up to the house last evening for their salt block so I checked them all out. The calves are growing leaps and bounds.
My Neice was excited to see her ewes that I had bought from her. She really didn't want to sell all her sheep , so she was excited to see how well they are doing. Lots of grass and brush to eat so even the goats aren't up to the house much.
I am excited that a friend from work is coming to see me this afternoon. I explained to her that my house is a mess, and I can't' clean much right now. After Hubby taking all the plants off the porch I cringed... You know. dead leaves and dirt everywhere. But not going to worry about all that and just enjoy her visit though.
have a great day!
