Oh that is really pretty,have been
wanting a pink one. I have seen some
canna's that have the red leaves and
red flowers and they get really tall
about 7 or 8 feet. There is a house
down the road that has some in the
yard and i have been trying to get
up the nerve and ask for one.
There must be 50 in one group.
So pretty. Are they the old
variety's i wonder. There is also
some with just the green leaves
and red flowers down at the river
at one of the parks and i have
never seen them get so tall and
big. Must be the river water
and the soil that makes them
grow like that. They have to
be at least 15 foot. Wish i
had a digital camera and
could post pictures for you.

If possible you can get photos of those cannas near you, I should be able to identify for you.
The owners of the cannas you admire in your neighborhood will probably not mind your asking
