The plant in the photo is not variegated, and it looks like a different species altogether, perhaps a different genus.
Ooo, I wonder. It is from 2002. Did you see my other photo of the plant in the link with variegated leaves? It puzzles me now, also that I do not have the plant anymore. I can only make guesses now- may they were fresh growth of leaves that would later become thicker and variegated?
