I am so excited but only if this works, if not then misery!

Finally I can share a picture of my double white. I HOPE!!! This has taken me 2 hours to figure out and my husband is ready to kill me. If the picture actually shows, which double white is it? It reminds me of a sushi handroll the way it unfolds. Actually this is too cool! If I am successful and can replicate this process a little quicker, my gardening has just taken on a whole new dimension!!!Make that 3 hours..........I had a pdd not a jpeg picture and did not figure all that out for awhile!!!!

Kelley, I just want to tell you that your picture is fantastic and all your hard work was worth it. You may never post another picture again after this experience but hey............ you never gave up even when your text came in upside down and refused to flip! Now I am going to have a drink while I keep visiting this fantastic picture!!! I am getting more satisfaction out of this picture than I got out of the real flower.
Sincerely, Kelley

Good picture Kell and congratulations on figuring out how to post picture. It took me awhile too. I'll let one of the doubles experts here see if they can answer your question.

that is simply gorgeous!!!!!!!! well worth the effort on my end! and may I be first to say....when you get ready to cut on that baby, I'd like to be in line. LOL!
it is a really really good picture.

THANKS Snowhermit and tiG, I am really thrilled with the whole thing, even if it was an ordeal. And thanks tiG for asking me for a cutting, I really feel part of you all now. I am having a tall glass of wine while i bask in my success. I had never used the digital camera before and sure had never used the adobe photo deluxe program.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, not only did you learn how to do it, but that is really a great picture. surely it's not the only one you took?? can't wait to see the rest of what you grow.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi TiG......I took 4 of this bloom and could not believe they came out. Now that I have had some wine, I am thinking I will take one of my orange sang tomorrow. How soon we forget! Since I am brug deficient, I may go thru my neighborhood and take some picts of the best brug trees to post.

Florence, AL(Zone 7a)

I'm so jealous---you've got that gorgeous thing, AND a digital camera! Bring on the sang pics!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi Judith!! I actually got the digital camera from my DH for Christmas, 2000 and left it in the box all this time. After today, he regrets ever giving it to me!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

See brugs are good things!the bring things out of the closet!!!LOL

Kelley, I'm so proud of you. Now, I won't get anymore Polaroids, will I? Your brug is pretty. Almost looks like it has some shredded mixed in. You think hubby is upset now, just wait. Like when he is ready to eat and you are busy putting pictures and posts on Daves site. "Just be a few more minutes honey" and then three hours later...........Sometimes at the lunch hour, Jim just gets in his car and goes to town to eat. It is easier for both of us. I'm glad you figured out the camera and I better get on the list for a cutting too before they are all gone.

Kell,
You did good..... now just make the picture a little smaller....someone want to tell her how to do that?

Your Flower is a beauty!!!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you should be able to pick a size to save it to. try options or resize, something like that. and save it as close to 640 x 480 as possible.

Thanks tiG.

kell! when I put my first image (Not one of mine)on a post, I was so excited, I kept going back ,not quite believing I had fnally done it. It's the only one I have done. I don't have a digital camera. Can't have it all can we? have so much more to learn before I tackle anything else :)

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Kell . . . I agree with everyone above. You did a great job on your first picture and the flower is very beautiful. It looks like you have given it very good care. I agree with Brugie - now your life will be changed forever. She is so right when she says you will be saying "just a few more minutes" and it is never going to be just a few minutes LOL. I know . . because I am doing it too!!!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Great picture.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Your picture is very good, Kell. You will be an expert soon, believe me! I thought, I never would get along with a PC. I do - but still having troubles, when it gets complicated. My hubbys knowledge about PCs doesnt go farther than Moorhen shooting, good for me!
