Day 2 LOL

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Okay, only got out for a couple more hours today. We ran into a big rock on the 'deep end'. The kids got the dog to get in and help. LOL They told her to dig and she did. I posted that as LMBO in Photos. It really was quite funny and it is at the bottom of this strip. For today, the water garden hole is nine feet long, four feet wide, 21 inches in the shallow end and 36 inches at the deep end (the rock really helped reach the depth! LOL). Hope you all are enjoying the.....thrills of digging a water garden with five kids. The rest of the strip is the kids being thrilled with the really big hole in the back yard. Giggle

I am very impressed at how you are all doing this together. I love that! It will be something you all built together and all will enjoy it. Plus, since they helped build it, they will think it's part theirs and want to help take care of it.

You are a VERY good Mom, Michele.

How cute!! Cute, cute, cute. When you're old and grey...sitting beside your pond..you'll remember these days. Perhaps you could put the dog out for hire. lol "T" :)

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Reminds me of a standard Poodle that we used to have. She would stand behind our Belgian Shepard when she was digging a hole and catch the dirt as it flew out from between the legs of the shepard. She never did figure out where the taste of dirt came from! She was funny but a dumb dog! LOL This is really fun for your kids and dog to help with the project. And fun for you to watch I am sure. I'll bet the bathtub is working overtime LOL
