This 1997 B. x candida flore plena is a cross of B. aurea Rothkirch x Charleston. The flowers are pendulous. It quit blooming in January and it is first flower since. It grows very slow, but a good bloomer. It needs improvement and I am working on it.
double pink Rosa Zauber
Monika,
This is what I'm trying to get here...one that looks like this. Beautiful!!!!
another wow!
Monika, that is by far the best brug......I love it!
okay, I can't afford to move to Germany, will have to move to Canada. right next door to Jeanne!!!
Keep them coming, Monika, Its very beautiful! :-) RK has done a good job coloring it, but how come, that the shape is not hose in hose after x candida Charleston? btw. even you say, that you are working on improving it, it has already beaten the dbl. pink on Kirchners site, that hardly can be propagated lol Congrats with your result so far :-) Which one are you crossing it with, ... if not several? ... I think, that Rosa Sauber x several will give various stunning ones lol :-)
I pollinated it already with EP. I have to avoid more Rothkirch influence, therefore no L'Amour or EP x Rothkirch - seedling.
It was the classic candida breeding. aurea x candida, latter with a second versicolor line. I hoped, the classic way of breeding doubles, in this case double pinks, would work.
