This little double (10 -12cm) hybrid blooms very well with a strong sweet fragrance. But I have to get used to the look of such a small flower. Would like to know your opinion about it?
Does the name Baby Doll suit?
oh monika! another stunning specimen. and yes, I think the name is perfect. just lovely!
hope you are feeling better!
Monika,
Great name....is this a peachy or creamy color?
Everything is still ahead of me tiG!
Its creamy with a touch of apricot.
Name fits perfectly. Is that a new seedling or one you've been watching for a while? It looks small to have so many blooms. I love it!
great name, and great looking plant.
I have been watching it already for a while, struggeling with me, if keeping or throwing away.
looks like a keeper to me name fits well
It's a keeper for sure and the name fits it perfectly. Another beauty Monika.
So its name will be Baby Doll.
Its a sister to Fandango, out of the same seed pod. Funny, isnt it?
I like it, name, flower, and size.
I like it, name, flower color and shape, and size.
Monika..I love the flower and the name...could be a whole new breeding line..miniatures!!
Monika - you have very high standards - if you keep this one it has to be very, very special.
I'll bet Eric will love that one ,he likes smaller flowers!
I thought about miniatures too - but it grows to good. The growth should be reduced also, I think.
I looked at Baby Doll several times lol It intrigues me, that it looks very much like the smaller white aureas in your book lol but they must be x candida, when they are double lol Please keep it! Its very special! As I see the picture, the leaves are not overly large compared to flowersize. I hope, that the only way you reduce growth by is to take cuttings from the fls. region lol It is so nice as it is, so it would be a shame to spray it with growth reducers :-)
The use of growth reducers are restricted in Germany. I dont have any at home. It would be helpful with seedlings to get them earlier to flower, but I would cheat myself. I wouldnt know anything about growth strength and habit of the new hybrids. Dutch flowers are from the roots up to the top full of chemicals, for instance Azaleas or Primulas, after the quit flowering, they die. It is almost impossible, to keep them alive and get to flower a second time.
i love the small flowers, another beauty.
Monika, I also like some of the smaller flowers. This one, "Baby Doll," is a keeper. Lovely.
Monika, beautiful, flower and name go so well together.
I like everything about it, including the name, perfect.
that`s nice.....! very beauti flowers!
This one is a beauty with its short aurea like doubled flowers. Simply lovely.
toss it??------*suits up in her ninja suit, grabs a flashlight, and camps out by monika garbage cans.* I think its lovely.
Baby Doll is perfect!
YES ..it suits!
I love it's name (o:
This is beautiful, and I have a special feeling about that name. My grandfather had 8 granddaughters, 3 from his son (my Daddy) and 5 from his daughter. He nicknamed all his grandaughters 'Babydoll', then if a little girl answered the phone when he called, he didn't have to worry about which one it was! I always think of him whenever I hear that name.
