CC, it ain't white!!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Wasn't even watching this one since the others had all bloomed white. I was so surprised this morning when I found it. A caterpillar was eating on the bloom, that's what made the holes.

What a pretty blush pink. I like this one a lot. It is from Karyn's seeds? So delicate looking........

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Another beauty.Keep us up-dated as the flower ages.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It's from Karyn's seeds. I was really surprised by this one.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I really like the color. Won't she be surprised.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Wonder if she wants to name this one? I'll save cuttings.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

That is nice, soft and delicate. You can add me to the cutting line when the time comes.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I checked first thing this morning, it's completely different shade of pink from Insignis, Frosty and Isabella. I like the shape of this flower too.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

wanna see!!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

CALA ------ please look at this link, the pink on left. it has to be one of eric's hybrids from last year, it looks very similar to CCs pink. i like it a lot because it never gets as dark as the frosty and frosty look alikes, it hangs pretty much straight down. it has a lot of buds, will take a pic of it when they open. it also has a HUGE pod on it, my first pod of the year, pollinated by an unknown critter!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Arlene - I think you forgot the link ;)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

OH MY STARS!!!!!I can't beleive it's PINK,is it big, little,Does it have any fragrance?What kinda leaves?OOOO BABY!My big question....Is it worthy of a name???and can I have a cutting?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

CC, ya gotta name at least ONE from your first pod, and I'm gonna keep that first white one too!! It's gorgeous!! The first white one is so pristine, and fragrant too. I'll go smell this one tonight, I had the sprinkler running last evening and couldn't tell.(plus I was getting soaked) I meant to sniff of it while walking Wally this morning, but he said "no, no, gotta go!!" so off we went.
TiG, I'll take a pic as soon as it's in the shade so the color will be best.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Great job CC& cala... so I have hope I will get a least one pink.I still have six of those baby's that will make it easier to share cuttings of cc frist name hybrid.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It is such an icy pale pink. I really like this one and congrats to CC and Cala. Irish I hope you get at least one also because you are right - - more cuttings to share.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Irish,I hope yours come out pink too!Cala, you are a wonder person.I don't know how you do it. My DH wants to name it "CC's Blush",but is there a brug called "Blush"? I was leaning towards "Ice Blush" Then there are my grandchildrens names........

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Jackie has one she named Blush

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I thought I remembered that name being used......

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

How about "pink mist" is that a name?Sugestions please

Pink mist is a nice name. Still waiting for mine to bloom. They have Y'd.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

There is like a story of romance, young love in that there flower.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I like that name a lot!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Pink Mist sounds great and I think it would be perfect.

Earl already has a Valley Pink Mist...I think.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

his is Mistypink.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

CC, you can name it after me.........only joking! it is really sweet looking, i like it.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

CC, I'll get a cutting rooted and back to you. Wouldn't want you to be without your first "non white" brug seedling. I like Pink Mist, I think it's fitting.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

CC, there is another pink one that opened tonight. I found it late this evening, too dark to take a photo. It's darker than the first, and smells like baby powder. I noticed that the second white one to bloom smells like White Shoulders perfume. All of the ones that have opened from your seedlings are fragrant.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Calla ARE YOU SURE THESE ARE FROM"MY" SEEDS???????????? How can this be???

FSH, TX

Nice soft delicate pink to that one.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes CC, I tag all seeds when I plant them and each plant gets a letter or number when they are transfered to pots. I'm positive, these are labeled "CC". The only other ones I had at the time were the CG seeds, they are huge, much older plants and from Busybee, hers are still in the Fern House at the garden center(they've grown to the floor and I couldn't pull them up)some seeds from Valley Grow which are labeled VG and some I bought on EBay that only one came up. I'm positive. All of the VG ones have bloomed white and look just like Valley White.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

OOOOHHHHH BABY!!!!Guess you have the magic touch! Now I'm really happy.Hope everyone ends up with pinks out of it!That give hope that all the crosses we all make will give more colored offspring than we thought! How did the 2nd one end up.Does it look like the first?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

CC, it's much darker.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Now I can't wait to see what mine will turn out to be.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I can't wait for everyones!!!!I'm gunna start begging more seeds!
