Nostalgia kick here. I just posted in Go_Vols' thread at http://davesgarden.com/showthread/267696.html about the computers I first used as a newbie, and I'm wondering what systems y'all cut your teeth on.

This is what I used at college in 1987-1988, I'm almost sure of it. The IBM 286's came out in 1986, though, so I'm not positive. By the way, like the description here says about the IBM-XT, I can remember in college having to enter the date and time every time we booted them up in class!! Oh, Lordy.
