Thanks to each and every one of you for putting out the Welcome Mat, and especially Lupinlover who was the first to enter across it. I must admit I was a bit intimidated by the layout of Dave's Garden site but your welcome has made me a bit more comfortable. Also let me apologize in advance for any blunters I might do before learning the proper etiquette on this gardening site. I so love the flowers, hosta and vegetables, at times I'm afraid I might get a little carried away. I defendly don't want to come across bold, excited maybe yes! And as Lupinlover mentions I live in Oregon on the very most northwest coastal corner, I look across the Columbia River at Washington. And the local neighborhood "SLUGS" are not my friends. I have a constant race to see who can get to the plants first. Must say I lose as often as I win. Anyway I have much to learn, you can count on me for some "duh" question. Lots of us as "duh" questions, and you will be amazed at how fast you will be able to answer questions, especially when someone says "what are slugs?" LOL.
Did you find a comfortable chair yet? I hope so, because if you are like some of us, you will spend a lot of time here, talking, drinking tea, and laughing.
