Scented geranium plants 'Giant Rose' to trade

Mason, MI

Hi!
I posted this on the herb forum,
but should have probably put it here instead.
I have six (potted in 4" pots) scented geraniums
called 'Giant Rose' to trade.
I pruned my big plant earlier this Spring,
rooted the cuttings, and they all rooted! :-)
These have a nice fragrance
and grow to be a good-sized plant.
My trade list is at:

Thanks! :-)

What is it Gaint Rose, I am curious as well you know I LOVE ROSES and what color are they?

Hi RR,
These are scented geraniums that
have fragrant leaves (when you rub or crush them).
The flower-heads are tiny with a white/light lavender
cast to them.

I will send you 1 chick with babies (4-5). for one of your geraniums? Also could you keep a standing trade with me for your hosta seeds in fall?
LMK about both.

John ... a friend sent me some scented geranium cuttings last Dec. i just stick the cuttings in potting soil, place under dappled light outside. in no time, they pick up so quickly. the cuttings i got were 8" tall, they are now 1' high and prolific in growth. just don't allow the growing medium to dry out. maybe if i used the coke bottle method, it would have root much quicker. maybe others have better idea.

John,
I rooted them just about as MaVie described,
she's good! :-)
I did use a touch of rooting hormone on mine,
kept them in indirect, slightly shaded light,
and kept them moist, but not wet or soggy.
I often have one or two that don't "take",
but not this year...they all rooted!
Kim, that trade sounds great!
I'll drop you an email later...
Red Wings are back on!

Thanks for the rooting tips. John
