Inside candida Dbl. White

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I think this is open as far as it is going to. It's a beautiful flower with a great fragrance. I hope the inside unfurls a little as I can't seem to find the anthers or stigma. Will have to check it tomorrow.

That's what mine looks like. Snow, the easiest way to pollinate is just before it's completely open, pry the inside apart, you can see the stigma, it sticks down a bit. I used a razor on the sides of a few of mine, but I don't like the way it makes them all poofie after I do that.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I like this one too. I would still like to have one that is hose in hose, but this is very pretty. Almost elegant looking. I also like the foliage on this one a lot.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

wowie zowie This is a pretty one.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

my flowers don't last but a minute on this. i took a just opened flower to try to pollinate, the next day the thing fell off. Glory's right, the humidity is hard on mine. hopefully this fall will be better.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Beau-ti-ful ~

Snow, its beautiful and I know the fragrance of the x candidas. Its one you can`t get enough of lol A am affraid, that Cala is right about slicing it with a razor to get to the anthers/ stigmunderneath from the middle of the flower and towards the edge it won`t be so visible :-)

What do you plan to cross it to?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Tonny, the only thing to cross it with now is Isabella. I'm hoping the other flowers open the same time as my EP and then I will use that.
