maybe it will be a reward for being the last to get a bloom??? even went to Azalea's house yesterday and the very first thing I saw was a huge brug bloom, right by the driveway:)

You might just have a winner there tiG.Sounds like a very interesting cross. Can't wait to see a picture of the flower.

I don't remember when I got the seeds from Arlene for Isabella X Butterfly (Eric's cross), but I'm thinking it was January, maybe. They are now beginning to make Y's and this plant has the strongest trunk I've ever seen on a seedling. It is already a good inch in diameter or more at the soil line. Very strong with those beautiful big leaves. Am very anxious to see what this cross produces.

hmmm...guess I need to pot mine up again

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Bonnie, I put mine directly in the ground and it has grown a lot already. I really like the shape and total overall look of this one. Now, if the blooms just fit in with the rest of it, I'll be one happy camper.

I really home Eric keeps hybridizng with his babies, he was hybridizing for such good qualities. i love his hybrids, generally real strong, fast growing and good bloomers. has anyone seen kyle's pink bloom? mine should have an open bloom by monday or so i think, yellow sticking out of that candida type calyx!
