That's going to be so pretty. It looks like you will have several open all at the same time.. Please post a picture when they open up.

OH Don't worry I will.. this is my 1st (and only) brug. I hope to have more next year.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

By next year you'll probably have so many you won't know what to do with them.LOL

montgomery, AL(Zone 7b)

OOPS I guess U mean reseeding. Will they bloom the 1st year? Also I'd kinda like to have different ones. I have sure seen some pretty ones on here.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Sugar, it's the kinda like to have different ones...bet you have 20-30 this time next year! by trading, they don't easily reseed....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Brugs are like people, it takes two to tango. Also, two different brugs. Two of the same kind don't set seed pods. If you will email me toward fall, I'll share some of my brugs with you. Can't have you with just one brug. Just wouldn't be normal. :-)

Sugar, seems like you are going to have a nice rush of flowers lol many at once lol It will be even more beautiful, when they open and start taking on their real shape and real color :-) What is the name of it?

montgomery, AL(Zone 7b)

Tonny, I was hoping U could tell me it's name ;) I guess it will be easier to ID once the blooms open.
Brugie, I sure will do that..this little Guy-Gal has sold me on brugs. They still aren't open yet but should be soon. I hope the blooms last more than 1 day like my Daturas. BTW it is in a 5 gallen pot & not quite 4 ft tall plus the pot which makes it look taller.. I don't know if that is normal size or not.

Sugar, I put mine in larger pots if I can. Most are in about 8 gal. now, but a lot of people useup to 20-25 gal pots. I can't handle that large of a container by myself, so make do with the smaller ones and the ground itself. Your blooms should last 4-5 days, especially if they are watered well and have some afternoon shade. I'm in trouble this year because most of mine will be in full sun all day. Couldn't find 50 some pots and all the soil to go in them.

Brugie, I'll probably put mine in a larger pot next year if it makes it through the winter like it did last year. We have quite a bit of compost making so maybe I can even use some of that. We have over a acre of land but would want them close to the house as the rest is in all day sun & very hot. I don't want that many just a few different kinds. I have no idea how much dirt we bought this year a lot I know.
Here is some of our other flowers & I still have more waiting to set out as soon as it is dry enough to till some ground. I grew most but not all from seeds winter sowing.
Two years this was a weedy parking lot for cars & the tractor. There is still a lot of work to do (needs more brugs *G*)

Gosh, you have been busy planting. It is looking good though and you are right, you just have to get some more brugs. Wish I lived in zone 8 so I could leave them in the ground. Potting them and then moving to store is hard on an old woman. I'm going to be taking lots of cuttings this fall and leaving the plants in the ground for the guy to plow up when he does the garden. May have to buy all those pots next year. Problem is that it takes a sack of soil at $10 to fill three pots. With over 50 brugs, that soil is very expensive. I tried to add composted cow manure this time to help cut back on the cost, but I don't think it probably made that much difference. Anyway, nice pictures. Always love looking at the results from other's hard work.

Brugie we also planted 40 tomato plants in 7 gallon pots & 16 pepper plants in 3 gallon pots..15 eggplants in 3 gallon pots. Can U imagine all the dirt we used? We had to use the cheaper Wal-Mart dirt & add fertilizer. We plan on saving it & add compost to it next year. It is just too much to buy over again. OOOPs I forgot the 12 pots of morning glories & The 2 barrels that aren't in any pix along with about 12 Hostas in pots. Then there is two 7 ft porch boxes which I only have 1 planted so far. We have been lucky this week as God has watered them for us. I care for the flowers & DH takes care of the Hostas & veggies but of course we have been known to help each other :) A lot of work but it is better than sitting around vegetating at our age (old)*LOL*

Now you are talking a lot of watering. Gosh, I have about 70 pots of flowers this year, only 16 of them are brugs, at it takes a long time to get it all done, especially when fertilizing. Hope it rains frequently for both of us.
