Wow this is a beautiful plant. My husband just bought a really big one for me on my birthday and although it is very beautiful I am nervous to have such an object to take care of because of my past attempts to nurture a plant. Can you tell me anything about them and how to take care of them?

This is one of the easiest plants to care for. I have some planted outside, they are actually cuttings off the one pictured here. I don't think you can plant it with your climate.

If you have trouble keeping plants alive you may want to purchase a moisture probe. You can get one just about anywhere you can purchase plants. Just stick it in the pot, watch the needle, it will point to moist or dry or somewhere in between. It takes the guess work out of watering plants. Just wipe off the end of the probe after each use.

I would keep this plant near a window for light. If some of the limbs get too long just cut them back. You can put some root tone on the cut and stick it in another pot to root it. Keep it moist but not too wet.

could this be planted outside in Arizona zone 9b.? if so could it tolerate full az. sun?
