Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Can we say windy? thought this old farm house would blow over during the night, but as usual it's still standing - if nothing else it's got a good foundation.
The grass is green and beautiful here. I am just giving my ewes a teasing of corn just to get them to come up to the house so I can check them all. I get so much pleasure out of watching the band of four lambs that play together. they were all following one mother ewe last evening and lost track of their own moms. I called them all up and the little guys were hungry and glad to see their moms.
I had put some of my plants out to harden. Yanked some back in last evening with the wind. I have them in a pretty protected area, but you can never count on anything this time of year. I have a white amaryllis in bloom that is just spectacular. The amaryllis bulbs have been one of my best trades ever. Sometimes I feel like I didn't give this guy his fair share, have e-mailed him a couple of times to thank him when I have another beautiful bloom. He probably thinks I'm crazy by now and hasn't e-mailed me back.
The shearer can't come for another week, so will need to work on some fence Saturday morning, instead of work with the shearer. Then off to the city to see my beautiful Grandson. It will be so much more of a relaxed enjoyable visit this time.
Hope everyone has a good one.
