Wow! leaves are VERY Hosta lol I hope you find a good way to root without loosing them :-) Do you have any idea, if the flowers will be different from the mothers?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I have no idea since the mother plant hasn't bloomed either.
I'm going to use Monikas air layering method to root this side cutting. I'm glad she mentioned it before I just whacked it off the mother plant.

Cala that is phenomenal...see my posting under Kyle's "Strange things are going on."

Cala, I rec'd a cutting very similar to this. It was a sport off of a suaveolens from "dennis" aka "gardenpro" last fall. It hasn't grown very quickly but has lime green and yellow variegation on the leaves. I'll post another picture of it later.

RR, it will be a while. This limb is only about a foot long right now and don't know how fast it will root.

KHT tried and tried to root this albino stem, even sent me some cuttings! No go.

Good luck Susie, if anybody can, you can!

I'm going to try. I've not got my nerve up yet, but I'm going to use Monika's Air Method.
