Isabella

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

This is what the APHIS man got to see today, this and the CG that's in another post. I've been trying to pollinate every bloom, but don't know if I'm succeeding, there are just too many. Some I had to get a ladder out to reach.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Oh - I have one of these from Glory, didn't know what color it was. Still tiny tho and no sign of buds - can't wait!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Cala - you are absolutely killing me with all these gorgeous blooms. I'll die happy though.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wow Cala, now that's a lot of blooms. It's beautiful.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

the APHIS man had to be impressed!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

If the APHIS man wasn't impressed, I was, enough for both of us. This plant is beautiful Cala. Terry, thank you so much for sending me this plant. I can't wait to see it bloom.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I'll have to thank TiG for this one. This is the most blooms it's ever had, and takes a lot of water to keep it from wilting.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, at least my adopted babies have blooms:)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Cala, why were you being inspected by the APHIS (??) man? At first I thought you meant by the aphid police and I thought WOW, they are sure tough in Tennessee. LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, it's a long story, lol. Let's just say someone told the USDA that I had illegally imported brugs from Colombia and other places that aren't allowed by the USDA. I've been inspected 4 times since last year. This was supposed to be the final one. One good thing, they did the inspection for a phytosanitary certificate that I need too.

Elizabethton (Stoney, TN(Zone 6b)

That plant is so pretty! How old is it? Will it keep on blooming all summer long? You gave me an Isabella in April, but it doesn't have buds yet. It has tons of Y's, tho.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

oh............. i just heard.......... she who broke my heart! All I can say if you do import them you better share!!! Start with Monika's........... :)). hers are worth going to jail for! LOL

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

You're welcome Shirley. It is a great bloomer.Cala, have you got any seed pods on Isabella yet? I've noticed on mine that the pods are much smaller than the SG pods.Pollinated them both with the same pollen.

Cala, that is lovely. I'm sure the APHIS guy was suitably impressed.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes Snow, i finally have a pod on Isabella. It's so different from the others.
Jeanne, he was impressed, but I think he was disappointed he couldn't find at least one bug.

I bet he was disappointed he couldn't find any illegal brugs too. LOL. Maybe they'll leave you alone now and let you grow flowers for a living. I must say all your brugs look fabulous. If he wasn't suitably impressed, I sure am.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Wow there are a lot of gorgeous flowers on this brug. I hope the starts you sent me will bloom this summer. I can't wait to see and smell a brug. Hope that APHIS is done with you and will leave you alone for a long time. Good to get the phyto certificate though. Keep posting these flowers for us to ooh and aah at. Thanks, Lani
