Some whiteflies must have hitch hiked into my house. Now I see there's a population building on the brug seedlings that I still have inside. I used a pyrethrin spray - is there anything else I should do? Dang! - I did good all winter keeping the pests away... I'm sure these must have come with some newly purchased plants >:[

that's what they do, poppysue! white flies is what i used the flying raid stuff on, a couple of times, right at dark and it worked quite well. of course mine were outside. every year it seems i bring something home with whiteflies.
right now, i have catepillars bad, just mash them. something must have eaten those little bluish/greenish beetles, haven't seen any of those for a week or so.

I used everything I could get my hands on to get rid of the whiteflies. It seemed the whiteflies just went away once I took my plants out of the greenhouse.
I still have a few plants that they seem to bother, am using neem oil again. I had gotten rid of them until I put mine outside, I thought. must have missed one:)
If you can find Imidicloprid, sold as Merit or Marathon, that works.
